Login Design My Cluster

Databases and analytics.Next to the apps that query them.

Run databases and analytics on high-memory compute nodes and NVMe storage pooled by Ceph, with three copies of every block. Your transactional databases, warehouses and reports sit on the same private fabric as your applications.

Databases and analytics on one private fabric.Short paths for every query.

A database is only as fast as the path between it and the application asking for data. When both run in the same hyperconverged cluster, queries read from disks on the same private switching fabric instead of crossing a provider's network.

Reporting and analytics run alongside your transactional systems, so the numbers your team reads come from the data where it already lives.

What is inside the rack.Memory, fast disks and copies.

Compute
High-memory compute nodes for database engines and reporting jobs.
Storage
NVMe storage pooled by Ceph across every node in the cluster.
Data protection
Three copies of every block on different nodes, rebuilt automatically after a failure.
Network
Top-of-rack switches with 25/100 GbE links to every node, on private VLANs.
Hypervisor
Proxmox VE + Ceph, VMware vSAN or Hyper-V + Storage Spaces Direct.

Built for data teams. From transactions to reports.

Transactional databases

Order, account and line-of-business databases on single-tenant nodes with NVMe storage.

Data warehouses

Pooled storage that grows one node at a time as your warehouse grows.

Business reporting

Reports and dashboards that run next to the systems that hold the data.

Grow without a migration.Add a node, not an array.

Databases grow. Each node you add brings processors, memory and disks together, and Ceph spreads data onto it. There is no new storage array to buy and no forklift migration. Your price stays one fixed monthly figure per rack build.

Our U.S.-based engineers handle monitoring, patching and hardware replacement around the clock, so your database team can focus on schemas, queries and the reports the business asks for.

  • Start with a three-node cluster for high availability
  • Add a backup node and firewall in a custom footprint
  • Expand toward a half or full rack as data grows

Questions, answered.

Which database engines can I run?

Your databases run in virtual machines on the hypervisor you choose, so you can run the engines your applications already use.

Is my data shared with other customers?

No. Every cluster is single tenant: no other customer on your nodes, disks or switches.

How is the data protected against disk or node failure?

Ceph keeps three copies of every block on different nodes and rebuilds them on its own after a failure. For recovery from a second location, add a backup and disaster recovery design.

Can I move my databases off VMware?

Yes. We plan and run migrations to Proxmox VE or Hyper-V, or keep you on vSphere with a cleaner footprint, then move your databases onto the new cluster.
