Outgrowing one server?Move to a cluster without changing teams.

A single server is the simplest way to run a workload. When you need it to survive a hardware failure, or you need more capacity than one machine holds, our engineers design a cluster around the same applications.

Clusters run on the same single-tenant hardware, in the same data centers, with the same people on the phone.

  • High-availability virtualization clusters
  • Kubernetes and database clusters
  • Dedicated rack clusters with your own switching

Questions, answered.

What is the difference between a dedicated server and a VPS?

A dedicated server gives you a whole physical machine. A VPS is a virtual server with a guaranteed share of a host, so it costs less and scales in small steps.

Which server should I choose?

Choose a VPS for websites, development and small apps. Choose a dedicated Intel Xeon or AMD EPYC server for databases, virtualization and steady heavy workloads. Choose a Windows RDP server for remote desktops.

Can I estimate the price before I order?

Yes. The server estimator prices dedicated servers and VPS with your memory, storage, network, operating system and support choices.

When should I move from servers to a cluster?

When one machine is not enough, or downtime is not an option. A cluster spreads your workloads across several nodes so a hardware failure does not take you offline.

Not sure which server fits?
